Photography has been a creative outlet for me since my childhood in the 60s and 70s. I learned the craft on the film cameras of that era, and I still use them. I’ve always appreciated the distinct look of analog photography, and the challenges it presents are still integral parts of my artistic process. The goal is not perfection, and I'm happy to surrender some control of what the outcome will be. You have to be comfortable with some ambiguity. The two-dimensional image of a three-dimensional reality isn’t an inferior copy. It simply tells a different story.
